will give you the winning sets of 3 numbers for the PA lottery over the past
year.  
www.lotteryusa.com/new-york/numbers/year provides the same information for the
NY state lottery.

I will show you in class how to extract this information automatically.

Suppose that every day, in both PA and NY, you bought the following
cards

1) Treating each lottery separately, estimate the probability of 
winning during that year.

2) Calculate the 95% confidence limits in each case.
